Phred is now available for EQIP cost share in Texas! The Texas NRCS will provide federal cost share up to $99,000 towards the the installation of a Phred system, by an eligible livestock farm. Texas producers can learn more about the EQIP program though your local and state NRCS office.
KEMA has also worked diligently with the Kansas Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to make Phred an EQIP eligible practice. Through EQIP, eligible producers can receive $187,500 cost share for purchase of a Phred. Kansas producers can learn more about the EQIP program though your local NRCS office and the Kansas EQIP website.
ABOUT EQIP: The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is a United States Department of Agriculture program designed to encourage agricultural producers to install practices that improve and protect natural resources. This is done primarily through federal cost sharing. EQIP is a national program but is administered on a state by state basis. KEMA is pursuing EQIP eligibility for Phred in other states.
