ABOUT EQIP: The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is a United States Department of Agriculture program designed to encourage agricultural producers to install practices that improve and protect natural resources.  This is done primarily through federal cost sharing.  EQIP is a national program but is administered on a state by state basis.
